    5 Mile Pass, Ride Pics

    by UteMachine » Sat May 12, 2007 2:10 pm

About a month ago I went over the bars at the tail end of a 100 mile ride in Green River. I dislocated my shoulder, tore my rotator cuff and fractured my humorus bone(I wasn't humored  ). Any way, I'm back in the
    saddle finally!

Here are some pics of a nice ride we did on Friday. The pics don't do any justice of just how steep the downhill is on this mountain. It's the kind where you are locked up and going 10 mph. Feels good to ride again.

Beautiful area! We actually have some of that here in California. Very similar terrain and rocks. Glad you doing better.

Thanks guys, feels great to ride again. Yeah 5 mile is awesome and reminds me alot of Gorman (I practically grew up in Hungry Valley). 5 mile is on the south west side of the Salt Lake valley and is the dry side. The East side (Forest) still has a little snow on it. We're headed there next week.
