I noticed at the Honda shop today that the 07' has a different water pump seal. It uses the same shaft and same oil seal. I bought the 07' seal for my 05'. It has some white plastic on the inside that the shaft spins in. Everything else looks the same. I am going to try it out tomarrow to see if it works. I am getting tired of changing out my water pump shaft, bearings and seals. 4 times in 2.5 years thats just way to many. Has any one else tried the 07' seal for the 02-06 crf450's ?
I feel your pain my friend, I almost had to sit out the season championship race due to those damn seals, but I learned fast to keep 2 sets in the tool box. The seal you are talking about (07) is different than the 02-05 when I just changed mine this weekend a honda mechanic said he had an extra set, which included the seal with the white collar, thats not need on the 02-05. If you look on www.planethondaracing.com they have the parts fiche and its easy to read. You only need 2 seals and 1 bearing for your bike. The part number are-91001-KA4-003, 91201-148-003, 91201-965-000. The part numbers may be different from each year but I've used 02's in 04's and they match.

Not sure I'm understanding the 07 just has lubricant? They should come with grease in the inner ring of one of the seals. The new part I'm talking about is rubber and white plastic combined, no 07 parts fiche out yet so I'm not sure. But yes the inner ring is plastic. White and Balck piece.
