The TwinAir with the flame retardent layer you'll like Joe, it's very well made, and fit's really nice . That may seem silly to some, but I've seen aftermarket filters that are all puffed out around the edges, and/or the seams aren't exactly where they're supposed to be.
I don't use the No Toil products, but I sure would. I've got too many friends that use them and none have any complaints at all, no problems and as far as cleaning air filters go pretty painless.
The reason I don't is awhile back I got that Twin Air 'System'that I'd put on a "Wish List" for Christmas, not expecting to get it. It's the one that has a cleaning tub and oiling tub,the cleaning tub having a filtering screen in the bottom of it.
While it seems overly expensive, you get a gallon of cleaning solvent, of really good oil, and I swear you could clean and oil 250 filters with what they give you.
Once you've set up your tubs it is REALLY easy, you just dunk it and rinse it, then when dry submerge it in the oil and wring it out. It makes really quick work out of the job.
Before I would do it the hard way , making a general mess of everything. I'm very happy with this TwinAir set-up, but if I didn't have it or had to replace it I'd go with the No-Toil/Honda stuff. Doug
