I don't know if the X bottle will fit, but here are the instructions for the baster fix:
1. First of course the Turkey baster, the one a Wally World was a little weird so I got mine at Shopko.
2. A rubber cork. This can be found in the nuts & bolts section of HD in the specialzed pull out slider drawers that have all the odd stuff like cotter pins, stainless steel screws, etc... (Bring your baster in with you to test the fit)
3. You are going to drill a hole in the middle of the cork and in the hole goes a 90 degree microline elbow. This is in the sprinkler section.
4. Now to the plumbing section for some small diameter clear tubing. Attach this to the 90 elbow. This will keep dirt and water from getting in the overflow. (refer to my pic, the little clear tube at the top is attached to the 90, as Agent mentioned, aim it the opposite way as mine)
-Now you have the parts and basically you take the drain tube and attach it to the bottom of the baster.
-I super glued the tube to the bottom of the baster.
-The rubber cork is simply pushed down into the baster and won't come out without a little work.
- I trimmed quite a bit off of the stock drain tube and then looped it back onto the baster to keep it from touching the motor or the exhaust.
Sounds like it's probably under $20.00 to me. PM UteMachine for more info.
