    Pro Wheel rims?

Does anyone know anything about Pro-Wheels rims? are they as good as stock, or how they compare to Excel rims. I am replacing the rims on a 03 crf450.

    I just built a set.

The early Pro Wheels were a problem. They used a strange alloy and had issues with the rims splitting at the welds. The company made good on them but who wants their rims splitting on a long ride?

The latest versions seem pretty good. they changed their alloy to the 7116 -t1. The same alloy that Excel uses in their new A60 rims.

I haven't run them yet but they seem well made and were quite true out of the box.

Make sure if you buy some that they are new models made with 7116 alloy.

I actually went with Warp 9. I had a set on my Cannondale and now a set on my CRF. I think these wheels are awesome. Someone told me the Warp 9's were heavier than stock, I don't know that for sure but they are very durable.
