I am looking into getting insurance on my bike on the chance that it gets stolen. Do you have insurance on your bike? With who and how much are you paying?

I got a quote from Progressive for $75 per year and this seems pretty cheap.

Progressive and Geico both seem to have excellent rates. The rate depends on where you live, but that seems about right. Doug

Progressive and Geico definitely! I have mine through State Farm, but got a REALLY good deal because of all the other stuff I have insured with them.

Still in NE. I was in the USCG (United States Chump Guard.) Lived in Cape May for about 3 1/2 years...about two blocks away from the beach down there in the housing just outside of the CG Training Center. Was only into street bikes at the time so no beach racing for me. We lived in Wildwood also for a year or so. Never saw the beach race.

We still joke about the WaWa's (that was the funniest name I'd ever seen for a convenience store.) Had a lot of good times in Cape May. The Summers got pretty wild and crazy with all the NY, NJ, PA, and Quebec-ians around. Always a shock...Fall, Winter, and Spring...population 3000 (or so.) Summer...population BIZILLION!

State Farm here. $25/mo, includes fire/theft/collision. Stupid bank wants it until I pay it off. Otherwise, I might just have fire/theft on it...

I just signed on a new policy for my 07 450r. I live in Pittsburgh and go through Erie Insurance for about $150 a year. Well worth it to protect my investment IMHO.
