Thanks, Ute. Gonna give it a try.

Physics...yeah right! That's why I became a Programmer/DBA. 1's and 0's...On's and Off's. NO gray area...it's either there or it's not. Physics? We don't need no stinkin' physics!

"Stinkin physics" Is what makes that motorcycle of yours come down from the air... It is also what keeps that little spinny thing A.K.A a flywheel spinning and you moving...And many other important things.

I'm glad you asked, of course I do!

This is your one stop shop for all things dirtbike in Utah. What brings you here again? If you can handle the winters, you will love it.

:o Winters (I laugh outload!) I'm coming down from North "where freezing is the reason" Dakota, I'll be moved down by the end of next month so I'll be hitting you up for more information, my wife just bought her first bike so I'll have to find some primary flat areas for good learning. I've got all the connections up here but none down there, wheres a good dependable bike shop thats not out to rip you off, I've gotta put new tires on my wifes bike and don't feel like climbing up on the rims with my knee pads to change them.

Braap, I moved here from So-Cal 6 months ago so anything sub 60 degrees is cold for me!

I can tell you where all the great places are, just let me know when you get here. Don't know when I'll be riding next, I had a major wreck 3 weeks ago and I ripped up my shoulder. I can still only lift it a few inches.

:( Sorry to hear about the accident, I feel the pain I go to physical therapy once a week. I'll hit you up when I get in the area. Thanks

    Water wetter.

    Ute...

Run Water Wetter instead of glycol. I used to boil over in the woods all the time. Now I almost never do.

would this work on the CFR205R.... or do i have an overflow tank, I have never thought to look for one. I ride in Arizona desert and i cannot let my bike idle too long, or ride too slow on the trails before I start to boil over...

Yes, it's alive, it's alive!! The turkey baster thread is alive again!!! :D

It would totally work for your 250.

As far as coolant, I have been running Engine Ice with great success. In fact my buddy has the same bike and he read an article about mixing coolanol and something else and put that in his bike. On the same trail ride, he had 2 boil overs and I had none.
