    Ah yes,the Jumping Oak.
For years, it was on the endangered list, with most killed by radical and irresponsible off-roaders ,ravaging the woods and their fragile eco-systems with their 105db, non-stock jetting suicide machines, scattering innocent nature walkers and wreaking havoc.
So, what's all this I hear about endangered feces, anywow ? Doug

He said smoking some Oak !
Hey, lots of the morally compromising but fun things I've ever done at whatever young age I was at the time, in retrospect they all seem to have been learned from California boys I met in the service.
There I was, an All American Jack Armstrong type, pure as the driven snow, thrown to the sinful influences of peers from the likes of LA,San Diego,Oakland. These boys didn't just fall off the turnip truck, and were worldly beyond their years.
The California girls were an equally evil influence.(but even more fun  ).So there.
Okay, it was peer pressure. Fine. Doug

"Peer pressure", O.K., fine. Just don't let 'em talk you into snortin' crushed acorns. Believe me, THAT habit is tough to kick!

    If a tree falls...

If you leave a rag in your air box but discover it before anyone finds out, have you actually "left a rag in the air box?" Good, then I've never done that but I've heard of it happening...

is there gas in tank? check
    is wash plug out? check
is there a rag sucked into carburator?

Ok, I'll be the first to contribute to the CRF's Only Troubleshooting Guide for Dummies...
    1. If after reinstalling the rear wheel in a hurry between motos, the rider complains that braking is worse than the deceleration of a Radio Flyer with your feet dragging on the ground going down Lombard Street in San Francisco, check to see if both pads ended up on the same side of the brake rotor. Oh yeah, and replace brake rotor now, if necessary.

Forgetting you padlocked the chain to the sprocket for security is another one. Braaaaap, thump, crunch. Change out chain and sprocket now, if necessary.
Now a firm believer in neck braces! Don't look at the ruts; don't look at the ruts; don't look at the ruts...
