maybe there is already an option and i am just blind and in that case could somebody point me in the right direction

but would it be possible to get an option in the search function to search "in thread titles only"

every search i do returns 1000s of hits because it is searching every post and i want to look just in the thread titles.

am i blind on this one guys?

No, you're not blind.

The option delimiter is:


Search topic title and message text

OR

Search message text only

So...you can eliminate titles completely, but you can't isolate just titles.
