Will CR85 forks bolt up to CRF100 ?

Looking online for an alternate to the klx110L (bleed red) and came across a modded CRF100 with CR85 suspension. In the comments some said it would work with welding, and one guy said no, it was complete bolt on. Has anybody here tried this? If so, what mod for the rear? Would like to set the bike up for mx for my son.

It's not a bolt on affair. Only the 1986 CR80 is a bolt on.

Wow what a great resource this site is. Seems as if someone out there has tried just about everything in the name of improving their Little Red Racer. Never be afraid to ask about a mod you are thinking about doing. Someone probably done it or had a go of it and can save ya a lot of time, effort and...oh yeah... money.
