Hi guys, i am sure you have a solution to my problem.....my daughters CRF100 will stall every time she shifts her bike into 1st gear...what could it be.........the gas is flowing fine and runs good while riding. She just has trouble when shifting into 1st gear......thankyou in advance............Don

Is the clutch adjusted properly? Freeplay at the lever? Proper trans. fluid level and oil type? Clutch basket have grooves worn in it? Guess what i'm getting at is it sounds like a clutch dragging problem.

Can't hurt to clean the carb, and especially the pilot jet. My daughters 100 was also running poorly last time out - hanging idle, couldn't seem to get the idle to stay consistent, etc. The bike had not been ridden for 6 months, and the pilot jet was plugged from varnish. Cleaned that up and we were good to go. I'd also suggest if you are going to be in the carb anyway, replace the jets; go with 38 pilot for sure, and optionally step up to a 102 main.
