    Service Manuals

    by newmxdad » Sun Mar 08, 2009 5:54 pm

    Hiya,

I have just bought my kids a CRF80f.

The bike is in reasonably good condition, but feels a bit 'loose' in the engine dept and suffers from the bogging down issue that has a lot of posts on this forum.

Im going to look at valve clearances, do a carb clean and would like to give the bike a good once over.

Does anyone have any links to service manual in PDF form?? The local dealer want +$300 for it which seems like its designed to make it too hard..

Also, any additonal suggestions for me about specific things to check before unleashing the kids onto the bike :-)

    cheers

    "General" manual.
http://services.honda.com/ServiceManual/SVC_MNL/61CM001/61CM001.htm - Go to the AHM Owner Link and sign up - it's free. You can get the owners manual once you sign up. Unless your bike is real old.

If you sign up for $19.95 membership to Honda Riders Club of America, you get access to the manual online:

    Hey Dad,

send a pm to "crfsonly" or e-mail to ken at crfsonly dot com.

Ken can get them and he ships to Australia all the time. Maybe he has a better way of getting it to you for less than $100 shipping...
