Anyone heard if Honda's going to bring back the CR 85 anytime soon? I have a garage full of 07s and really don't want to change colors and don't want to transition to the 150s.

2 strokes are dead! sad but true! As I have a CR250 I haven't heard anything other than everyone is stopping production. I was told the last 2 stroke engines to be made is 2010 after that EPA won't let anyone make them. As far as in the U.S. I hope I heard wrong.

The maintenance on the CRF150R's isn't gonna be much higher than the 2 strokes. They have steel valves so they don't eat them as often as the 250's.

I just purchased a 150f and when at the dealer they were telling me that 07 was the last year that any bike manufactures could produce 2 strokes. Starting in 08 it all 4 strokes from now on.

Thats odd as all yellow, green and blue are all producing two strokes for 2008. The only one I've heard is yellow not producing after 2008.

Still dosent help my cause with five CR 85s in the garage.

Your right, I just looked at the kaw and yah sites and they do have 08 2 strokes. Wonder why they told me that?? It's not like I was even looking for a 2 stroke and would take my business elseware?? I was out to get the 4 stroke 150f..
