    6 inch pipe?

    by crf100rider21 » Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:32 pm

My friend has an older xr 100 (98) and the other day he was ridding and his pipe just broke off! He has about six inches of pipe left. Other than it being really loud what kind of problems with this cause?

He says it runs better, and does not really have the money to buy a new pipe right now.

Well, explain to him what was stated by people who know what they're taling about. If he chooses to ignore it, then let him learn a lesson the hard way.

The bike probably does have a little extra snap to it, but at what cost?

Also, everyone has a dyno implanted in their rear...it's called the "seat of the pants dyno", and the louder something is, the higher that dyno reads. ;)
