when i am riding my slightly modofied xr100r (spark arrestor and air filter screen removed and fuel screw ameturelly tuned which might be the problem) it is fine but when i slow down it starts popping i adjusted the fuel screw a little and it helped but its still there just a little bit it doesnt hurt performance but its still there

Popping on decel is an indication of a lean pilot curcuit. You would have to turn the fuel mixture screw out until the condition goes away. You may need to bump the pilot jet up one size if the fuel screw is backed out beyond 3 turns.
