    CRF100: Making it quicker/more powerful?

    by Lewisclarke » Tue Apr 17, 2007 5:50 pm

Are these bikes similar to my 250X/450X when it comes to 'souping them up'?

    Re-jet/air box? Maybe a pipe/header? Cams?

Am not looking for top-end, but rather more power without going to a 150 'Red-sticker' bike.

    Suggestions? 2-cents?

    Thanks-

all combustion engines perform better from free flowing intake and exhaust tracts. high performance cams as well are always helpful. so, yes they do benefit like the bigger crf's from these mods.

the best thing you can do is get the bbr 120cc big bore kit. if you can also afford the carb and exhaust you'll have done about all you can without going totally radical.

Thanks. Will see what kind of money mom is willing to spend. The 100 has some troubles in the SoCal deserts.
