    Aftermarket parts for crf100f

    by crf100rider » Sun Jun 06, 2004 6:59 pm

I just bought a new crf100f. I'm about 5'7 and 135 lbs. The bike is great i mean it is a honda. My only complaint is it isn't track material. I don't know a lot about four strokes so if anyone has any advice on parts to make it track worthy i would appreciate it.

Well I'm 13 almost 14 im 135lbs. I mostly ride woods but my friend has a track about 10 minutes from my house. one thing i know i want is more power and speed. I know the suspension won't hold up with to much air. I'd like to change bars, sporockets, chain, and exhuast for sure. What would me the best brands and places to get the parts.

I upgraded my exhaust with a Pr Circuit T4 system including head pipe. I don't know if they have one for a 100 but it made a noticable difference in mine. I also put in a Moose dual stage air filter (I have also heard good things about Uni filters). In the near future I plan on putting a Pro Taper bar on also.

Here's a quick (cheap) modification I did to a 2002 XR100. One tooth larger counter shaft sprocket ($8 or so). Remove the inner baffle at the exhaust tip. Install a 112 main jet ($3). Move needle jet clip to fourth groove from top. Drill a 1 inch diameter hole in the airbox cover to let it breath better. Made a big difference. If you need even more top end speed, replace the 50 tooth rear sprocket with a 46 tooth. ($20)

Saturday I raced this XR100 on a 3/8 mile oval dirt rack race. I placed 4th against 9 other bikes, all larger. Two TTR125's and seven CRF150's It's the rider more then it is the bike!

Please tell me a WEB site I can go to for a 46 tooth rear sprocket and a 1 tooth larger counter shaft sprocket. I have checked with all local dealers in Vegas to includ Cycle Gear and all Honda dealers

    Thanks
