I grew up with my Mom telling me "do anything you want but take the Consequences like a man" Words to live by. All the problems I have had I deserved and accepted. Funny how is is ALWAYS the police's fault. :)

diden't have to many problems with the cops, I got stoped going to work once, I was late and decided to go down a side street to make up some time lol, The cop was good about it tho. Now the forrest guys are a different story. They hide in bushes, behind trees, try to run you over, and all for no reason. If they see you on the trail they come after you.

I have always had problems with the cops the best thing to do is just ride on the side of the road when you see them and then they will just let you gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I've gotten chased twice, and from what my friends say, a cop can only chase for three minutes until they have to find something better to do. They also have to catch you in the act, and unless your bike fails you, that seems pretty rare. Just stay out of trouble and on the trail!

I've done a lot of things I shouldn't have when I was young. 98% of the time, when the cops were chasing me, looking for me, or otherwise it was MY FAULT and they had good reason to be looking at me.

For the people saying the cops can only chase you for 3 minutes??? lol I mean come on. I don't know what state your in, but here... The RCMP can and will take your bike... fine you, and see you in court if you run. They will get you eventually. All you do is cause heat for everyone else.

I live in NY. I think it's a local law, because people ride on the road all the time by me, so after chasing some kids for a couple of minutes, they'll get another call eventually. I'm surprised that I haven't been caught, as I live in the very center of town across the road from a country store where many a sheriff will stop.

Wow, how imature. You really think that makes you look cool or sound tough? Just wait till they get you. Also, beware that anything they catch you doing goes on a PUBLIC record that your parents etc can look at. :| It just ain't worth the hassle. If I ever decide to try some street ridin, it'l be on my R only after it and I have the proper licenses. I'd be willing to bet that the first time a sheriff atually catches you, you wet you pants or cry or both. Your attitude towards authority is pathetic. [-X

Wow way to be a killjoy. I'm not sure if you're old enough to drive, but those who don't have that luxury have to find someway to ride. I ride on my property as much as I can, I only have 5 acres. I never flaunted my escapades from the authorities, don't assume that pal. I do it because I have to to get to some places as well. I'm not one to bug my parents to drive me somewhere when I could save them the trouble and the gas. Don't be such a dick either, I have been caught by ENCON. It's not that scary. The police are pretty understanding when it comes right down to it. I think that your attitude towards others is appalling, you're judging me without even knowing me. To me it sounds like you need to grow up some before targeting a kid.
