What makes you think higher octane fuel is better and cleaner???
The misconception about things more expensive being better? Litle(sic)boy, try diesel. Its octane rating is even better than premium gas.
BTW (sic) is not the same as "sick." Much as it sounds funny, I don't do stuff like that. (sic) is a literary tool to designate the writer's acknowedgement that he is re-posting word/s that he knows may contain error/s.
it works better and is faster then usin 87 and y dont u try diesel fuel and i dont care if they contain errors its how every one i know talks so if u dont under stand it too bad get used to it aight and how old r u guys seriously
We are all really old.
Most of us went to school back when the official language was English.
If you are not running a high compression piston, you might be surprised at the power you get from the 87 octane gasoline.
The lower octane fuels have a faster flame spread rating and therefore will burn faster and more completely. You will achieve more power as more of the fuel is burnt.
Higher octane fuels have a higher ratio of Xylene added to make them burn slower and ignite at a higher temperature so that the compression doesn't cause preignition (pinging). Xylene has a lower BTU rating than does Gasoline.
Bottom line = lower octane in a low compression engine equals more power.
Aight?
i know u r
