    VDTRA 38x...

I put in the 112 main jet but I am getting some deceleration popping and also it cuts out if I throttle to hard off idle.

I removed baffle but have not done the air box yet.

    Any ideas?

Send your 100 top end to XR's only and for about $600 they will bore it out to a 120 and install a roller bearing hot cam. You can waiste $600 on BBR bling and not come close to the level of performance that you can get with this mod. Trust me, I waisted my money on the BBR bling first.

    Kenjans,

With the 112 pilot and no airbox modifications, you might be running rich. I would first check your spark plug to see what it is telling you. If it is black, then you are too rich.

You might look at ways to let more air in the box by cutting out some of the top. Ken here at CRFsOnly sells those small one inch inserts where you drill a hole and pop them in the airbox. I will be trying this on my boys bikes as soon as the jets I ordered arrive.

I will let you know what we find out on this end once we are done.

Well I've one as well and I live in Huntington West Virginia and if you want to make faster do what I'm gonna do I'm gonna lower my front sprocket to a 13 tooth sprocket and raise the back to a 52 tooth sprocket the stock sizes you have right now is a 14 tooth front and 50 tooth back so you do that and it will run like a CR80 EXPERT!!! and then. Now for hitting jumps you want to stiffen your suspension and you can do it for free by looking on the bottom of your shock and you will find a place to pump it up with air like a bicycle tire but you also have to loosen a screw that is in a wire that runs to your shock but don't unscrew it all the way because it will fly off just unscrew it a little bit then add air to the bottom of the shock the screw is located in the wire which is around the top of the shock and the air tube to fill the shock is at the bottom of the shock if you want to know more e-mail me at [email protected]

Pro Circuit, FMF, BBR and Big Gun all have posted almost 3hp gains. Take your pick. with the BBR being almost 100 bucks more, look at the FMF or Pro circuit.
