Powroll products are great. Yes, you have to use 100 octane race gas mix. The compression ratio is raised and needs higher octane gas. Although, you can get pump gas and add octane boost. I'm not 100% sure you can do this, but I am almost 100% sure.

High octane (100) gas does not burn hotter then standard (89). What it does is resist pre ignition that happens in high compression engines. If you don't use it in a high compression engine you will get a pinging or knocking noise from the engine. The gas actually starts to burn before the spark plug ignites it.

you can actually serverly damage your high compression engine if you don't run the higher octane fuel. if the piston is coming up on the compression stroke and the mixture ignites prematurely it can send a pretty strong force in the wrong direction...can you say breaking stuff along the way? run the race gas mix and you'll have a happy motor...happy motors make happy riders.

Only place I know of. possibly local Auto Parts Dealer, they might have octane boost that can run in motorcycle, not sure.
