CRF's Only Forums

Hi there.

I've been lurking here for a few days and thinking of getting a bike for my son and I. So today I went and purchased a brand new 06 CRF150 and a 06 CRF70. These are our first bikes. My son has asthma pretty bad so normal sports are out of the question, so I decided to get him into dirtbiking. I was going to get the CRF230 but I just didn't feel comfortable on it. Don't know why really because it's not much bigger then the 150 so I played safe and got the smaller one. When I get some experience then I'll go and get the 230. Today we went out and I taught him how to ride it. Frustrating at first, but after a 1/2 hour he got the hang of it and we had a blast. Thx

Welcome to the group/family and the adventures of off road motorcycling. You are going to enjoy the sport and the comradory of this forum. There is a huge amount of knowledge among the members and all are more than willing to share. Don't be afraid to ask.

^^^^likewise. I have a 3 1/2 year old boy and can not wait till he can join me. Any help with the 06 150 let me know, I've been through a lot with it. Have fun with your son, I'm soooo jealous.
