Why a 150F?

My question is not intended to offend the many 150f owners and riders.
Why spend the money on a 150f and drop a ton more money upgrading the bike when you could just get a 150r and already have the upgrades. what is the draw?
I looked at the pics forum and there is a lot of money in some of those bikes but the 150r seems to already have those upgrades and its lighter.
lots of people seem to really like the 150f so tell me why.

i agree, if you buy a 150f and do abounch of mods to make it able to compeat with the 150r, then it is silly. BUT the stock 150f is pretty darn good. it was my first bike (its gone now). it could climb up and hill, never stalled, and had electric start. the best beginner bike ever made, IMO. and on some trails, it can easly keep up with 450's. i have the 250r. and i find its way easyer to ride my sister crf100 up steep hill and low speed sections. (even though i weigh 150 pounds and im 5'11") the 150f was desighned for beginner riders and does a great job of teaching people how to ride

I have a 150F with 230 wheels on it and I have a 250X. Why the 150F? Cause the 150F is a bulletproof low maintanance trail bike. For scouting out trails it is perfect. It will go everywhere with little effort just keep the rear wheel driving and the front wheel pointed in the direction you want it to go. Drop it and you dont have to worry about radiators or brake pedal ripping into the side cover.
Its not a race bike! its a trail bike. I have modded mine not to race but to upgrade the crap suspension for .....trail riding.
Did I say its not a race bike? You are correct many spend big money on this bike to make it something it aint. Why? Bottom line...cause they wanna
