Sell your bike and get a new one!

    by CrfBeast15 » Mon Oct 17, 2005 10:56 pm

Five nine, In my oppinion it would be a waist of money to try and make your 150 higher, even a 230 would be too small you need like am xr250 if you like trail bikes. But if you don't have money lying around bbr stiffer springs would be a good idea. the difference from the 150 and 230 is wheels so if you could find some 230 rims and tires you would get another inch maybe

Why an over wieght and underpowered xr250 when you could jst do some mods to a 150/230 and have a just as good if not better bike. I like how you just try and suggest random bikes for random people....

b/c the 150/230 is an over weight underpowered bike also only with a smaller displacment the 250x or r would probably be better

thats what this site is for suggestions and ideas and I agree that its probaly time for ethan to move up

You will be surprised at the differnce the Triple clamp and shock link make. And although it will not raise the rear of the bike, setting the sag on the rear shock will not let it compress as far down when you are sitting on it. That will in effect make it feel taller with you on it. It will also make it handle better. Add the springs and bump the fork oil weight up. About $550.00

PGer555, Once again... just an opinion. If you say you hate it when I suggest he needs a new bike thats your problem because you don't know his riding skill either why should he be being held back by a weak bike? And just to make things clear, this is an opinionated post, it's the desiscion i would make, you have the freedom to disagree.
