hello all, i am new to the dirt bike scene and dirt bikes in general... i have an 04 150f and was curious if i can get some new forks for my bike. i dont like the forks with the black rubber covers on them, so is there a way to get the cool gold lookin forks that are on the 125's and the higher powered 4 strokes.. thanks for reading..

oakley...welcome to the group! The CR80 and CR85 forks with triple clamps will fit a CRF150F. These forks are the inverted gold type you are referring to. You'll not only have to use the forks and triple clamp but also the wheel, brakes, etc. Obviously, this will be very expensive if you try and purchase each of these parts individually. If you can find a used up CR80/85 at a good price that might be feasible.
If you do go down this path remember to also work on the rear shock as the bike will be terribly unbalanced suspension wise.
Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

So basically take the clamp, forks, wheel etc off cr80/85 and put on 150? Could the CR80/85 shock fit on 150? or could i put a BBR shock on it. Thanks

crf150rider...no the shock will not bolt right on. the forks, front wheel, brakes, triple clamp, however will bolt right on...you'll have to modify the frame's steering stopper however.
