    seat sag

    by wildman2393 » Sat Jan 10, 2009 5:33 pm

i've been riding my crf just for fun before and now i wanted to get more serious into racing. i know i should get a more powerful bike (going to get a ktm 200 next year i hope), i've been doing all the other things the forum said to do to increase power and now i wanted to focus on the suspension some, i'm 5'6" and am 140 pounds(i can stand flatfooted on my bike), i was wondering if anyone had so ideas into a good setup for my suspension eg, fork preload, oil weight, amount of oil, i also wanted to know what is a good amount of sag for the the rear, thanks

you should check out FCR suspension they will set it to your height and weight for i think like 20 bucks. or you can just get them to do the whole suspension wich is all sorts of new stuff. i had my crf150r done with them and it rides a heck of allot better.(new jetting, springs, oil etc..) they will show up at some major amateur motocross events. :D [url]http://www.fcrsuspension.com/

There is not a lot of adjustment on the 150f, Set your rear sag per the manual, the front springs can be changed or we just added a 3/4" spacer in my sons forks to stiffen it up. After that we just upgraded him to a 250x.
