Read a rumor that next year Honda will introduce a CRF160X.
Any info out yet?
Water or air cooled? Two or four valve? Fast or a play bike like the CRF150?

you guys are rediculous. never believe this stuff, you will be better off. those pictures were photoshopped and have been goign across teh net for awhile. it's called having fun and seeing what you can come up with. so, in otherwords, expect to see the same lineup for next year. btw, i am totally amazed of teh knowledge of off-road riders (here) compared to racers (motocross.com) It's rediculous.

while it would be sweet to see what honda could come up with in a small displacement water cooled 4-stroke those are absolutely photoshopped pictures...and well done at that! that man from ireland has some seriously mad skill.

Hold your horses - at the Moto GP race this past weekend at Laguna Seca the gentlemen working the Honda tent confirmed that they are in the process of building a four-stroke replacement for the CR 80 - its pure honda logic. However, they said it was far off from release because they can not get the horsepower out of the small four stroke to even match that of a cr 80. While the photo may be fake the bike is really in development.

Yamaha has been working on a YZ150F for 3 years now. Everybody knows that 2-strokes are short lived given newer federal requirements, so whoever wins this race just might own the market for awhile.
I also think that until they decide on just what kind and size of 4-stroke, small bore race class is needed, the manufacturer's will hold off on releasing a bike. Nothing like pumping R&D money into a bike with no class to race it in!
