my 05 crf150f smoke's when you first crank it up and wile it's ideling but after you let it worm up and gas it some it go's away. it's white smoke

you're burning oil. sounds to me like you either have too little or you're in need of replacing rings to get a good seal back.

In an aircooled bike it would be. Probably not white but bluish.

if ur starting up in cold weather as far as i know a little but of white smoke is normal when u fire up a bike. its just condensation in your engine boiling off. if it goes away after a while thats because all of the condensation is gone, i used to have a 150F that didnt burn a drop of oil but let out some white smoke when you first fired it up.

mine had the habits of smoking for 15 sec and then it was ok, Never got problem

the first time mine was smoking was because i wore out the rings and the second time i chewed up the valve seats

thank's for the reply's. my bike is harder to crank and harder to keep runing now when it's cold is that normal
