    cuting out

    my 05 150f when i hit a good bump or just a small jump
    im talking about 7 inch's off the ground it will start cuting out if you give it about half trottle its done this sice i got it whats wrong?

    You could be hitting the rev limiter if you gassing it in the air.

    even in the air when you hit the throttle it don't cut

    now it's harder to crank and it will go dead after it idles a little. to day i taped on the float part of the carb.
    and it crunk up and idled good and then i wrode it a wile and hit a bump and started cuting out and then when i would give it some gas it would bogg down and go dead. please help me

    Sounds like you might have a clogged jet or jet, or a float problem. How old is your bike and has it sat long with no use. Sometimes in a whoop section the gas can cause a bog.

    what do i need to do?

    just take the carb apart carefully and pay attention , clean it out good , the float bowl will be where all the junk is and some might be up in the air passages for the pilot circut , use compressed air , digital camera works real good for when it's time to put everything back together !

    thank yall i took the carb off and took it apart and got all the junk out cleaned the jets put the needle on the forth notch and now it runs better than it ever has.
    i wont to rejet it like mustangs thred at the top of the page. but i dont know where to get the jets from can someone tell me?
