I just replaced the tires on a crf80 and crf150. I used a Motion Pro assorted tire iron set, (ask Ken to price one for you) and the back brakes on my crf230. Both jobs are easy. The back tire on the 150 will be toughest.

Do a search for “tire” in the How-To forum; there are some good articles and links there.

buy new tubes and rim strips.

    My personal tip:
line up the tube hole in the rim strip and the tube hole in the rim by eye, then fit the strip over the rim lock before you fit the rim strip to the rim. use needle nosed pliers to line the tube holes up.

Watch this and you will be in like flynn. The only thing I skipped was the bead buddy. I have one now. It was fairly easy.

The adjusters will be exactly the same as when they came off. The long bolt goes through the block, the spacer, wheel, other spacer, other block and is nutted. The adjusters are set with the set bolts so they will be the same. If you need to adjust the chain make sure the notch on the adjusting blocks are the same on both sides.

While it's apart brakes are pretty easy. When you pull them out of the drum take a picture of how there are put together. If you grab either one and pull it towards the center it should come apart. When putting back together I've found the easiest way was to put one shoe in place. Attach the springs to it. Place the second shoe in place and 90 degrees to the first and hook the springs on it. Then you can rotate it down into place. You will have to release the adjuster so you can fit it back into the drum.
