    extended shifter lever

    by oakleyswitch » Fri Mar 04, 2005 11:04 pm

i just got my 150 a few months ago, and since i was new to riding, i didnt buy any riding boots. all i used was my work boots that i had and it worked fine.. well the other day i bought me a pair new boots, they are so comfy.. but the bad thing is, they seem way big for my shifter lever and i cant get any good shifting in. i cant get a good feel for it because it seems like the peg and shifter are too close.. any ideas? thanks

BBR has a nice shift lever that is 1/2" longer.

i had the same problem, the easiest, way i did it was also just loosening the screw and i moved it up 3 notches its so much easier, but watch out not to push it in toward the engine to far when u put it back on or ull scratch it
