2006 crf 230 carb leak

Recently purchased a 2006 crf 230 and when fuel is on and bike not running, the carb leaks gas from top of float bowl, not out of the overflow. I haven't dug in yet, but is it more than likely a bad gasket? When the bike is on the kickstand, the fuel leak comes from right side, which is higher than the fuel intake line on left. This leads me to believe it is a gasket issue. Any thoughts?

I am pretty sure the float bowl is a neoprene ring not a gasket.
Assume you just changed those jets out.
Perhaps the bowl has been off to many times or there is something not letting the bowl properly seal the ring.
I would take off the bowl and see if the oring is sitting proud of the bowl.
Check the bowl fit properly as you put it on as it can get hung up on the overflow tube.
I would check for a bit of trash in the needle and seat while you are in there.
Be careful you don't lose the needle or the pin.

It ended up being a bad rubber gasket. Replaced it and no more leak.
Thanks

Well that was simple.
Did you get a chance to change jets yet.
Interested to see how well it goes.
