Putting a new exhaust on my 2008 Crf 230f.

I have a question about when you put a after market exhaust on a Crf 230 or any bike. When you put the exhaust on you have to adjust the valves to that exhaust or you will blow up the engine right?? and will the honda shop tune it to the right specs?
If you could tell me as soon as possible that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Mike :D

Athough it may not be bad idea to set the valves anyway, no differernt valve setting is needed for the exhaust up grade. You may be thinking of the "carb jet change" that should be done, most pipe manufactures will have a recommended jet size with their product. with help from this forum you may want to tackle it yourself,(its not that bad) but your dealer or any reputable cycle shop should handle it.

no need to adjust the valves when installing a new exhaust. if you are still running stock jetting then upgrade to the CRF's Only PowerUP jetting kit. this will get your jetting spot on with our without your new exhaust.
