Im about to do this clutch replacement and ive come to find out i need some tools, i could understand the Clutch Hub Spanner, and i can take the hit of 9 bucks, but then i see this collar A and holder plate which together cost about 140 dollars. And what is this gear holder that i need, i hear some use a penny. is that a temporary thing aor should i do it right and get a holder. which of this tools is a must?

Buy the motion pro clutch holder tool. It also holds the flywheel so you can undo anything attached to the crankshaft...

You can make your own. I used aluminum bar stock, 3/16” x 2’. Drill bolt holes and one for the spanner tool, then use the short case bolts and ½” nylon spacers.
Cram clean rags in the case openings and behind the gears so the penny won’t fall into the inner case.
