    backfire screen

    by mrdtroy » Sun Mar 18, 2007 5:04 pm

I'm looking to doing the power-up kit and removing the intake baffle and exhaust baffle. I'm just curious about the backfire screen in the air box. I'm looking into purchasing one of the Twin Air backfire proof air filters. Has anybody pulled off the backfire screen and how did this work out? Any recommendations with re-jetting with the backfire screen out??

I’m not convinced it would make a noticeable difference. I guess it could potentially be measured but nothing that you would ever feel. I suspect your jetting would remain the same.
