    AS,

He is 7. We have been riding tandem (slow n safe) for a few months, and he really digs it. :D

I told him that when he mastered his two wheeler (bicycle) that we would look at the 50. However, he fractured his wrist last week on the bicycle, so he is out of commission for at least 4 to 6 weeks. :(

Two days before his wrist injury we visited the local dealership, and he fits on the CRF 50 perfectly. Now we have to wait for time to heal and regain confidence.

One question though, I have heard from friends that they started their kids on a quad to familiarize themselves with the controls and not worry about the balance, and then moved to the motorcycle. I would be concerned with the heavy quad rolling over on him, and not being able to lift it off, your thoughts AS??

Incidentally, my wife and I rode yesterday and Alex rode in my truck following while Grandpa drove. A real family day, perfect. :D

Thanks Ken! Yep, that photo was actually taken in the back of my truck two weeks ago (note the tie downs) after a trip to the desert. The smile said it all.....what do they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. :D
