Depends on the terrain. The 230 is a great bike, but it is under-powered for its weight. My son rode his 230 in a D-22 8-mile loop harescramble and a 40-mile loop Enduro last year. The places he REALLY suffered were the hills. Otherwise, it shot through the trails pretty good.

i ran my 230 in a harescrable last year it was fun, but i could not keep up with the rest of the pack. i was the smallest bike there! interestingly i tended to pass most of the two strokes on the long hills.

I know that feeling calg450. I ran my first one on New Year's day, The Hangover 100 at Slade's Park. All I kept saying to myself was " I need a bigger bike". I was pleasantly surprised at the 230. Where other people were getting stuck, I was blasting threw. After a while my hands went numb though. It was the hardest trail I've ever ridden and also the most fun.
