What
Radiators?
Some
of the most frequently damaged pieces of critical
equipment on modern dirt bikes are those fragile but
oh so necessary radiators. Water cooling has been
a blessing for engines that make more power and last
longer to boot, but only when the cooling system is
intact and working properly. And that isn't likely
to happen when one or both radiators are pranged,
ruptured, poked, split, and/or crushed in a mishap
(obviously someone else's fault!). Motorcycle radiators
generally cost upward of $150 each (some are close
to $400 each!), and cycle shops hardly ever have any
in stock. As if the expense and repair effort wasn't
bad enough, it takes time to get a replacement, and
the more down-time we suffer, the less riding time
we enjoy. We didn't buy our bike to work on or have
it sit idle awaiting parts, so what should we do?
Well, the best answer to this dilemma is to add extra
protection.
Works
Connection offers Radiator Braces for the CRF450R
and CRF250R/X to help prevent radiator damage from
frontal impacts. They fit perfectly, they're easy
to install, they come with all the necessary hardware,
and their cost is but a fraction of that for the pieces
they protect. What's not to like?
