Need
More Than a Mosquito Repeller?
Let's
see now. The CRF250 rear brake disk costs over $155,
yet Honda gives us a 1.7 oz. piece of thin plastic
to protect it. Against what, mosquitos? What about
all those rocks, logs, and Suzuki's we're always running
over? What happens to the day's ride when one of those
nasty things takes a chunk out of our rear brake disk,
or bends it to the point where we can't even ride
it? We're not only out over $150, but we've lost a
good day of riding, and now we have to pull off the
rear wheel and actually work on the thing! What fun!
What joy! What a load of crap!

It
didn't take me two minutes to pull off the Honda plastic
guard (and I use the word loosely) and replace it
with real protection, one of FastWay 's 3/8" thick,
hardened and anodized, aluminum guards with stainless
steel mounting screws. It not only offers far greater
protection, it looks trick as well! A no brainer?
Which would you rather have protecting your day's
ride and $150 worth of brake disk? Duh!
