Anyone use a K&N air filter, and if so
what kind of feedback do you have for
the rest of us who might be wondering???

I uas one on my street bike with no problems
and yes I service it regularly.

I have a 2005 CRF450R recently got, and
am looking for other options beside just
a foam type filter.

thanks in advance for any and all opinions.

My opinion is stick with faom. Twin Air filters and No-toil filter oil is what I use. Never any problems and very easy to clean!

Ive been running a K&N MX xtreme filter in my 09 250r for 3 years now. Ive never had a problem and the inside of the boot going into the carb behind the filter has always stayed very clean. The filter is so much easier to clean over foam. Its more of a high flow filter over stock so I did have to slightly rejet. Overall I love it and will probably never go back to foam.

the twin air foam filter with the no toil oil is great. the filter has great durability and the no toil oil works great, cheap, easy to clean, and you can clean it out with oxyclean. plus the no toil is enviromentaly friendly with no fumes either. i clean it after every ride so that works great. just my 2 cents

I have a slightly used K&N filter from my '08 CRF 450, if you want to try it. It was in the bike when I bought it. I have so many Foam filters for it, I'm just going to stick with what I know. I've been told they work great and actually add 10 HP. J/K, but if you want to buy one at 1/2 off retail, PM me. Thanks, Shaun
