We have an 08 R/B and run Pirelli eXTra on the front and Pirelli MidSoft 32 on the rear and have been pleased with both.

I really should have said I need tires for mostly sand. We ride in central florida at a place where it is mostly sand. No motocross tracks or anything. The selctions are few for theses tire sizes. Looking for an off road tire for mostly sand.

I had Bridgestone M404 rear and M403 front and loved them in the intermediate and soft terrain and they still worked great in the sand!

Michelin Starcross MS3 (MS2 for junior).

MH3 also hooks up very well on med & rock, and still gets you through the sand - works well enough that I no longer swap rears on my sons bike unless I know we are headed for a wet run.
