Anyone know the guidelines on number choice for XC racing? I have a number that I want to put on my bike, but I don't want to encounter any problems, are there restrictions to number selection? Like do I need to contact a certain place to reserve my number or what? I'm wanting to get into racing this coming season, so I'm doing all the cosmetic stuff to my bike atm.

You'll need to get your AMA and district card. They assign the numbers. You can request a number but they don't have to give it to you.Give your district sec. a call or e-mail. Where are you located?
