    DRC turn flashers

    by phagan » Fri Sep 02, 2016 10:12 am

I have a 2016 250L and I installed a DRC Edge2 tail light kit and also the 601 turn flashers both front and rear. I used the 12oclock labs standard rate flasher. Everything works as it should, but I noticed when I switch the turn signal on, the green arrow in the display console no longer flashes. It stays a constant green. I am thinking it is because the running light wire is no longer connected? Any insight is appreciated.

Update, I heard back from Brooks at 12oclock labs. Here is what he had to say.

Its not the fixed rate flasher causing it, but the LED turn signals are. The bike dash indicator is wired as standard bulb indicator, and diodes need added to make the dash indicator work for LED signals. We sell a diode kit, or the diodes can be purchased at any radioshack..

Let me know if you need instructions for wiring in radioshack diodes and I can provide that as well

    Thanks,
