450R build - primary drive gear is rubbing on basket

Hey guys. I bought a basket case 2006 450r. I am currently finishing up the bottom end. It came with a Rekluse clutch basket which had severe chatter marks from the primary drive gear rubbing on the back of it. After I bolted the cases together myself with a new oem crank, bearings, seals, etc ... I noticed the basket is still rubbing. So I then got my hands on a factory used basket and still no luck. My only guess is could it be the inner clutch hub/kickstart gear that is that badly wore?? Or do I have the drive gear on wrong?( I have it with the thicker collar towards inside of case, and the timing dimples towards the outside) Its almost as if the basket either needs to come out 0.050" or so... Or the drive gear needs to go in to be able to eliminate this rubbing. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks
