I have no need to plate my bike, But I can't help thinking if we made this thing street legal what a big plus it would be. Is there a way to get this thing plated and look good? DR was a big fan of how the Husky was street legal.

i know of plated 450x's in CA. i could have gotten one for a price...we don't want to go there with this bike. if we brought one from another state that might be different. wish it wasn't the case but we're in CA.

Ken I like the factory light And the Acerbis Diamond Black. stock unit with brighter light is good especially if you decide to go white. the Acerbis unit exudes trick and adds more light with optional colored lenses you could run a set of red lenses (for photoshoots )with black plastics It would have a great looking bike.

I'm not one that would use my X on the street, but here's a link if anyone is interested in the dual sport thing.

I think the Tecate HID is far superior and would be the better choice for off-road. It may not be the prettiest thing in the world but it may be the best.

baja designs has either just released or will be releasing a HID for the X...it looks pretty good too. in fact, it was on jimmy lewis' X for the 24 hour glen helen race.
