Usually Saturday for 35 to 62 miles. Sunday is a recovery ride of about 20 miles.

So, when do you have time to ride your CRF?

if i cycle back to back days i won't have the same power or endurance. i need at least a day between to fully recover. :-(

Well, me too, if I were to push it on Sunday. I find that riding a fairly leisurely pace for 20 miles just works the lactic acid out and gets me going again. Keep in mind that the speed on Sunday is 15 or less and the ride is totally flat.

sounds like a good strategy. i wish i had the same leg strength and endurance i had 15 years ago. i got out of cycling for about 10 years and i just have not been able to regain either.

:) Try being 64 years old and see where your leg strength and endurance go to! :) I am still trying to regain both. I too quit for a while and have suffered the "re-start" syndrom. Just did my personal best on an 11% hill... 3 trips!

11% that's a climb. my gut check ride is from rancho cucamonga, to baldy village, to glendora via glendora ridge road, to rancho cucamonga. another favorite is glendora to baldy villiage via glendora ridge road and then back again. besides the mileage the climbing is intense.

the other numbers challenge is not everyone is a roadie. so two versions were requested which doubled the numbers needed. but it would be pretty sweet i must say to roll up in a CRF's Only cycling jersey. on the back it could read "my other bike is a Honda CRF" ;-)

I ride a motorcycle because it has a motor.
I learnt to ride a motorbike before a pushy.
For some reason the legs weren't coordinated enough.

    Go figure.

We only need one style(whatever it may be) for road or mountain. Let's not complicate it.

it's not the style but rather the jersey it's printed on. roadies and mtn bikers wear different types of jerseys.
