    I went green!! (05 kx250f)

    by Weshman » Sat Mar 15, 2008 7:00 pm

Wow, this is truly an amazing bike. It's a huge step up from my old 230, yes I know, but I'm getting into racing anyhow. It sounds like a 2-stroke while riding too o_O. It's about as heavy (or maybe a tad more) than my 230.

Sad to only have an xr400r as our only Honda; it was a great bike, but it'll be a nice step-up.

    (Yes, I sold my 230 for 2500. Excellent deal :) )

Oh, it must be that center of gravity? or... something?

And at the "trader" thing: yes! Why, yes! I traded my 230 for a green monster. Thank you for recognizing that!

He had a 230 so it wasn't like he was a real honda owner anyway. :)

Ouch!! That hurts!! Even our CRF 230F brothers and sisters are still bonafide CRF'ers.

If you want to attack somebody let's keep our sights on the R guys...

    You know what?

I can't think of a witty comeback right now.

    I guess he meant Traitor.
But I can't say that. I've had Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Norton, Triumph, Penton, Husky, Ariel, Harley, Ducati, Ossa, BSA and CZ. All I've got right now are 3 Hondas. (I keep going back to Honda, I've had 9 so far.)

I bought a 250X and put a dual sport kit on it only because a 230 didn't have adjustable suspension. The suspension is more important to me than all the rest of the bells and whistles. 'Power is nothing without control' is not just for tires!
Even on my road racing machines, the suspension was done before any engine mods were done.
