    06 CRF250R jets

    by Redfishwhisperer » Sat Nov 04, 2017 6:46 am

I have a new to me 06 CRF250R and can't seem to find anything that compares to what I have found in the carb. There are signs of Tokyo mods (bowl cap, air screw, red timing spring) but I have no idea if they are the ones that put the following in it.
    NHFS 4th clip from top
    42 pilot
    182 main
    68 starter
    42 leak
I have only ridden it a few times and had an EXTREMELY touchy slow speed throttle response. I decided to check the valves and found the intake bottomed out so I sent them to be reworked. In the meantime I am checking the carb and would like to try and get it close before the head comes back. Any input is appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you mean by "touchy". However, the best jetting we have tested is the JD Jetting.

Often used bikes have a number of carb issues. AP has a bad diaphragm, floating valve seal is bad or installed incorrectly, pilot jet is clogged, etc.
