I have a 12 ton press (Harbor Freight *$99.00 if i remember*) and it works real well for steering head bearings and linkage bearings , i just use a tall metric impact socket and the retainers/guides that come with the press

The press came with an attachment to remove a blind bearing? How does that work? The race has to be pressed from the opposite side and the attachment would have to fit through the same size opening that it is trying to press out (the opposing race). Can you elaborate?.
Just to be sure we're talking about the same part...
