    Snowed in

    by SimonCrf250r » Tue Jan 05, 2010 12:36 am

Woke up this morning to a text saying; Dear Simon, Poor weather means college will be closed on both sites today, Tues 5 Jan. Please check college website for further notices.
So I am expecting a good day snowballing and sledging as cars cant go anywhere, buses are cancelled and everywhere is shut!
Find it hard to beleive that just over a foot of snow shuts a whole country down!

There's places in the states where barely a dusting will shut down the whole city.
We have two companies of Marines running rampant all over the northern half of this island, and three Army regiments pinned down in the southwestern corner, doing nothing. What the hell is going on?

UW-Madison was closed (campus closed, not just individual classes) for the first time in like 20 years cause of snowfall a couple weeks ago. We had 18 inches or something.. it was fun :D
